No purchase necessary. The contest is open to Washington state residents. You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law. One winner per household.

How to enter: Beginning Sunday, October 14, 2012 through Thursday, October 25, 2012 (with the exceptions of October 19 and 20) photographs of the SRW logo on a frying pan taken in various undisclosed participating restaurants will be posted on SRW’s Facebook and/or Twitter pages between 12pm- 1pm PT. (You can view the full list of possible restaurants here: www.seattlerestaurantweek.com.) Enter the correct restaurant name and your information into the Official Entry Form, which can be found here. One valid entry per contestant per round between October 14-25, 2012 (with the exceptions of October 19 and 20). There will be ten (10) rounds, each lasting from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time per day.

Alternate Form of Entry: Mail a 3” x 5” card to: Eat & Seek Contest, C/O The Seattle Times Company, PO Box 70, Seattle, WA 98111. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. two (2) days following the entry day. Must include name, email address and/or telephone number, age, mailing address, and correct restaurant name for specified round.

There will be one (1) winner per round; one (1) round per day October 14-18 and 21-25. Winners will be drawn randomly from the pool of correct answers and will be notified by email and/or telephone. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If The Seattle Times Company cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded. Prizes are $100 value gift certificates to participating restaurants.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.

Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.

The Seattle Times Company reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.

Employees of The Seattle Times Company, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.

Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners at The Seattle Times Company, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to The Seattle Times Company the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.

UPICKEM and The Seattle Times Company are not responsible for any late, lost, misdirected entries or any entries that lack sufficient postage; Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God. The Sweepstakes can be canceled, terminated, modified or suspended at any time for any reason by the aforementioned company.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to email notification.
Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
